چکیده مقاله:

Tidal energy is a clean,  reliable and available  energy that  exits vastly. Moreover, it can be offered to most of coastal  regions and cities. This clean energy  can be used in littoral  zones worldwide , together with islands and coasts ofIransuch as Chabahar. Furthermore, from ecosystem point of view, this energy is useful for increasing coral reefs and also using organic materials in different applications.Via different turbines, tidal kinetic energy is transformed into  electric energy. In this article, different methods of acquiring energy from tidal flows,as well as their economic feasibility, are evaluated and compared. In addition, tidal energy was considered in southern coasts ofIran. The results indicate that helical turbines have great efficiency and construction of electrical production station in Persian Gulfis  mandatory

Possible Sunspot Effects on Precipitation Totals over Northern Coasts of Persian Gulf and Oman Sea

In this study, the relationship between annual sunspot number (ASN) and annual precipitation totals (APT) has been investigated over the northern coasts of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea by using two statistical methods: contingency tables and cross-correlation function. Only Bushehr and Jask stations (270 mm and 140 mm mean APT) have long term monthly precipitation records started instrumentall...

Wave Characteristics in the Northern Coasts of Persian Gulf

Understanding the wave pattern as a first step in marine studies is very important. The global models as a source of data can be used to simulate local waves. Before applying them, their results should be evaluated. One of the most important global models is the ECMWF model. Based on the wave simulation in the northern coast of the Persian Gulf, it can be said that the ECMWF model results are o...

a new tidal model for the persian gulf and oman sea based on satellite altimetry and coastal tidal gauge observations

based on 11 years of topex/poseidon satellite altimetry and coastal tide gauge sea level observations, four tidal constituents, namely o1, k1, m2 and s2, are modeled for the persian gulf and oman sea using a time-wise approach according to the following details. by selecting the cycle 100 as the reference, 772 points on 12 paths along the track of the altimetry satellite footprints over the per...
